Sydney Satterwhite is a 22 year old computer information systems major at Howard University from Moreno Valley, CA. He is also a stage IV cancer survivor. Sydney strives to use what he calls his "Second Chance" at life to excel in his career, studies, and personal life; and have a good time doing it.
WORK.
Sydney's professional ambitions are rooted in business, sepcifically information systems, and how the use of technology can improve business practices. By using technological, analytical, and interpersonal skills Sydney seeks to find the most efficient and effective way to carry out tasks.
LIFE.
On a personal level Sydney is interested in finding the positive in the things around him and how he can change things for the better. How technology has and will continue to change our everyday lives is what Sydney loves to find. This coupled with a unique array of life experiences is what Sydney wants to use to help the communities he has, and hasn't, been a part of.
BALANCE.
The balance here is that both work and life goals are intertwined and a sense of purpose, passion, and pride come with the actions that Sydney takes. This site is not just a representation of Sydney as a student or employee, but as a human being, a complete person.
